PECOS COUNTY, Texas (Nexstar) – Six immigrants were arrested Friday in Pecos County.
On April 2, Pecos County deputies stopped a pick-up near I-10
Deputies arrested the driver, identified as L. Bortoni-Alvarez, and found six undocumented immigrants in the back seat laying on top of each other.
According to PCSO, Bortoni-Alvarez was also identified as being undocumented. He was transported to Pecos County Jail and charged with evading arrest. A federal detainer was also filed for Bortoni-Alvarez by US CBP.
The other six undocumented immigrants were turned to Border Patrol.
