MIDLAND, Texas (Nexstar) – Frontline workers in Midland got served quite the helping of brisket today.
This is thanks to a couple dozen volunteers and Rusty Bucket Barbecue. It happened at Midland Memorial Hospital today, just in time for lunch.
“We’re serving basically a two meat plate, brisket, sausage, potato salad, beans, you know, you got your barbecue sauce. A drink all that stuff that goes with it,” said Rusty Bucket owner Matt Finlay. “With everything that’s going on it’s just some good news. It’s good to hear. We got to love one another.”
Finlay tell us they expect to feed over four thousand people today. That’s two thousand pounds of brikset.
