SAN ANGELO, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Another U.S. Representative is backing August Pfluger for District 11.

U.S. Rep. Dan Crenshaw officially announced this week that he will be endorsing Pfluger for the 2020 Primary.

“I want to let you know that I’m supporting August Pfluger for Congress,” Crenshaw said in a statement. “August has over 300 hours of combat operations against ISIS, 20 years in the Air Force as a fighter pilot…he’s exactly what West Texas needs in the fight in Washington for conservative values. That’s why I’m supporting him, and I hope you do too.”

Pfluger has been raking in the endorsements as of late, having been endorsed by Midland Mayor Patrick Payton, the Texas Sheep, and Cattle Raisers Association and the Texas Farm Bureau, among many others.

“I’m supremely honored to receive the endorsement of fellow combat veteran and U.S. Congressman Dan Crenshaw,” said Pfluger. “Dan is a conservative warrior and Navy SEAL that bravely risked his life to defend our country in Iraq and Afghanistan. As your next Congressman, I look forward to joining Rep. Crenshaw in the fight to keep our country safe, secure our border, and make sure our veterans have the help and support they deserve.”
