ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – On Sunday, Odessa Regional medical Center outlined their visitation policy amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
Hospital officials say effective Monday, no visitors will be allowed inside of the facility.
“The health and safety of our patients, visitors, employees, and our communities re-main our top priority at Odessa Regional Medical Center. Therefore, in line with the latest guidance provided by the CDC and the Texas State Department of Health related to COVID-19, all hospital visi-tors will be restricted until further notice,” the release reads.
The only exception to the rule will be mothers and newborn babies who will be allowed just one visitor. ORMC says those who do visit will be screened.
Additionally, entrances will be restricted to the ER and the West campus main entrance.
