OPD searching for person involved in bank robbery

ODESSA, Texas (Nexstar) – The Odessa Police Department is looking for a man who robbed a bank on north Grandview just after noon Thursday.

According to police, a man walked into a bank and handed a note to the teller demanding cash and said he had a firearm. The man then left in a white SUV.

No arrests have been made at this time. The man is described as white or Hispanic, 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a dark cap, a blue tie and a white t-shirt at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information should contact OPD, the FBI or Odessa Crime Stoppers.
