OPD makes arrests in robbery cases

ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Odessa Police have made two arrests in connection to a string of robberies at Odessa businesses.

According to OPD, Timothy Burris is charged with one count of Robbery and two counts of Aggravated Robbery. Fredrick Calicutt has been charged with one count of Robbery.

On December 26th, Odessa Police responded to a robbery at the Saucedos Tamale Factory on South Grandview. The investigation revealed a man robbed the business at gunpoint and left the store.

The next was on Decemeber 28th. Police responded to a robbery at the Subway on East University. The investigation revealed a man robbed the business at gunpoint.

Then on January 6th, OPD responded to a robbery at the Subway on North County Road West. The investigation revealed two men robbed the business at gunpoint.

Throughout the investigation, Burris was connected to all three robberies and Calicutt to the last one. Based on the circumstances found in the investigation both men were arrested and charged. More charges are expected as the investigation continues.
