OPD make arrest in connection to terroristic threats

ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – The Odessa Police Department has arrested one person in connection to threats made earlier in the day Thursday at two local hotels.

Nia-Alexandria Jones has been charged with two counts of terroristic threat.

According to a press release, on March 12th, just before 10 AM, OPD responded to the 3900 block of North JBS Parkway in reference to bomb threats received at both hotels.

There were no reported injuries.

The investigation identified the suspect as Jones. She was interviewed by detectives. OPD obtained two warrants and transported Jones to ECLEC.
