OPD investigating fatal motorcycle accident; Looking for person of interest

ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Following an accident that killed a man August 7th at JBS Parkway and 42nd Street, OPD is conducting an investigation into the incident.

According to OPD, initial investigation shows that a Jeep, driven by a Midland woman was traveling westbound in the 4900 block of 42nd Street and attempted to turn into a private drive when a motorcycle crashed into them. The passenger in the Jeep was a one-month-old child.

The motorcycle, driven by Juan Carlos Cedillos of Odessa was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control before hitting the Jeep, according to an OPD release.

Cedillos was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other injuries reported.

Now, OPD is looking for the person in these photos as a person of interest in the crash.
