LAMESA, Texas (Nexstar) – An Ackerly man is dead following a crash involving a semi-truck on Highway 87 south of Lamesa.
The crash happened on December 12 around 9:15 PM.
Quinton Airhart died when his SUV hit a semi-truck that was attempting to make a U-turn on the highway, according to DPS.
Airhart’s two passengers were taken to Medical Arts Hospital in Lamesa with incapacitating injuries.
The driver of the semi-truck was not hurt.
