Both men involved in Midland shooting now in custody, third person now arrested

UPDATE: 7:58 – Officials say Samuel Moreno has been arrested in connection to a shooting in Midland.

UPDATE: 9:50 AM – Brad Beck has been apprehended in Round Rock, Texas. The investigation is ongoing.

MIDLAND, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – One man has been arrested and another is being sought in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred earlier this week in Midland.

Police officials say around 6:10 p.m. Monday evening, officers were called to the 500 block of Mineola about a man that was found dead.

While investigating, officers learned there were gunshots heard near the home earlier that morning, according to a release.

The victim has been identified as 68-year-old Justin Zatovich, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say on Tuesday, two suspects, believed to be involved in the shooting, were identified and one was taken into custody.

42-year-old John Sepulveda has been charged with murder in connection with the shooting and MPD officials say they are searching for 38-year-old Brad Beck.

A warrant has been obtained for Beck, charging him with murder, according to the release.
