ODESSA, Texas (Nexstar) – Crews with Odessa Fire/Rescue saved a dog from a burning mobile home Monday morning.
According to a spokeswoman with the City of Odessa, OFR was called to a structure fire around 10:49 a.m. Monday morning in the 7000 block of Silver.
When firefighters arrived they found a mobile home on fire with a dog inside of the home, according to a release.
Crews managed to rescue the dog, which was treated for smoke inhalation. No other injuries were reported.
However, the home was considered a total loss and the cause of the fire is still under investigation, according to the release.
