ODESSA, Texas (Nexstar) – There is now a place for people to go when they are on their own. A new center for women and children is opening in Odessa.
Organizers will also teach the women that stay there how to be successful.
“It’s a 12-month intense program where they will learn how to budget and how to choose right relationships. How to parenting classes and raise good responsible young adults. The children will also be in classes as well,” said Director of Jesus House Women and Children’s Shelter Shirley Almanza.
The center hopes to open it’s doors February 1.
