ODESSA, Texas (Nexstar) – Nearly 2,000 people received a Coronavirus vaccine over the weekend at Medical Center Hospital’s first mass vaccination clinic.

Thousands of cars lined Yukon Road Sunday morning into the afternoon for their chance at the vaccine. At last check, MCH says they administered about 1,932 doses out of their 3,900 allotment.

The hospital will continue their mass vaccination clinics this week. Each event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday until they administer all the vaccine available.

However, MCH CEO Russell Tippin has said they state has approved their request to receive 3,900 doses of the vaccine each week for the foreseeable future, so if you missed out this week, there will still be opportunities to receive your vaccine.

MCH is still asking those who attend to pre-register at their website. That form can be found here.
