MPD: Two robbed at gunpoint

MIDLAND, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – The Midland Police Department is investigating after two people were reportedly robbed at gunpoint over the weekend.

Police officials say Sunday night, officers were called to the 4800 block of Rangemont about the robbery.

While investigating, officers learned two people were driving in the 4400 block of Fairbanks Drive when someone approached their car and held them at gunpoint, according to a release.

The suspect is then accused of taking the victim’s wallet and walking away.
