MIDLAND, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Midland Police have arrested two boys after they admitted to beating and cutting a man Tuesday morning.
Police officials say the investigation began around 9 a.m. when officers were called to the 1500 block of S. Loraine Street about a disturbance with a weapon.
When police arrived, they found a man with “multiple cuts” to his head from a kitchen knife and severe bruising, according to the release. Officers later learned that two suspects had assaulted the man and left the scene, police say.
Officers checked the area and located two boys who matched the description given by the victim. Police say both were taken back to the MPD and admitted to their part in the assault.
Both have since been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and were taken to the Culver Juvenile Detention Center.
