Monahans Police: Two charged in fatal stabbing investigation

MONAHANS, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Monahans Police have charged two suspects in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred Thursday.

Police officials say they were called to a disturbance early Thursday morning in the 500 block of W. 12th Street.

When they arrived, police learned there was a fight between three people outside of a home and that one person had been stabbed, according to a release.

Two men were also accused of leaving the home following the stabbing, police say.

The victim was reportedly taken to a local hospital and was later pronounced dead.

Officers located the suspects in the 2100 block of W. 2nd Street where they were detained.

MPD has since charged the suspects, Tanner Weeks and Joseph Locke with capital murder.
