Mobile showers for homeless

Local News

MIDLAND, Texas (Big 2/ Fox24) – One Midland man and his team take on to help those in need by providing mobile showers.

Karl Boroski and his team want to help change the stigma of homelessness since people would often be kicked out of restaurants because of their odor.

“If a homeless person is in a restaurant they wouldn’t be sitting there,” he says, “They will get run off cause they have a smell to them.”

For the past two years, Boroski and his team have been providing food and now for the past two weeks, they took the extra step to provide mobile showers during the weekends for almost the whole day Saturday.

“We wanted to take that factor out where they can walk inside somewhere,” Boroski says. “They can be clean they can have clean clothes on.”

Boroski and his team  aim to provide for all of the people across west texas and make a change in the community.
