MIDLAND, Texas (Nexstar) – Midland Health will be providing another update on COVID-19 numbers in the Tall City Tuesday at 10AM.
The City of Midland confirmed 44 new cases of the virus in Midland County on Monday. Numbers in the Tall City have remained relatively steady in the last few weeks outside a spike from an outbreak at the Midland County Detention Center.
In Midland, 85 people have died of the coronavirus. 2,422 people have recovered.
The total number of cases in the county is expected to surpass 4,000 Tuesday.
