Midland County urging people to report storm damage

MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (Nexstar) – Midland County is asking people who suffered damage or loss from the winter storm to fill out a damage survey.

By filling out the survey it will help the county become eligible for Federal Individual Assistance.

Midland is one of the few counties in Texas who are not apart of the major disaster declaration. Gov. Abbott this morning that Ector and Howard have been added for Individual Assistance.

Individual Assistance can be used for repairs or replacements and make small businesses eligible for federal loans.
