ODESSA, Texas (Nexstar)- Medical Center Hospital will now allow COVID-19 patients to have visitors.
Visitors for COVID-19 positive patients, and those patients undergoing investigation, will need to wear appropriate personal protection equipment and must check in at the nurses’ station prior to entering a patient’s room.
MCH will allow one visitor per patient per day. That visitation will need to be pre-arranged with the nursing staff.
Comfort care, end-of-life, and Hospice patients will be allowed two visitors at a time, those visitors will be allowed to switch out with others throughout the day.
Non-COVID-19 patients will now be allowed two visitors at a time. And end-of-life patients on a non-COVID-19 floor will be allowed up to five visitors at a time.
