Man, teens injured in shooting

MIDLAND, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Midland Police are investigating after a man and two teens were injured in a shooting.

Police officials say the shooting occurred Sunday night in the 1200 block of North Lamesa Road.

At the scene, officers located one of the teens and an adult who sustained gunshot wounds. Both were transported to Midland Memorial Hospital.

A 13-year-old was also injured in the shooting, Midland Police officials say.

While investigating, police learned a man, later identified as Caleb Oneal, confronted the group and fired several shots at them, a release from MPD reads.

Warrants for Oneal have been issued, charging him with aggravated assault.

Police officials say the 13-year-old and the adult are both in stable condition and the 16-year-old is in critical condition.
