Man accused of using sledgehammer, rocks on cars in Odessa

ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Odessa Police are investigating after a man reportedly used a sledgehammer and a large rock to damage several vehicles overnight.

Police officials say they were called to the damaged vehicle around 7:11 a.m. Wednesday morning at Midas on Andrews Highway.

While investigating, officers learned a man used a sledgehammer and a large rock to damage 14 cars in the area, according to the release.

Police estimate the damage at about $19,000.
