Howard County Judge issues disaster declaration

HOWARD COUNTY, Texas (Nexstar) – Howard County Judge Kathryn Wiseman has issued a disaster declaration following damages from the winter storm last week.

The declaration was issued due to “widespread or severe damage, injury, or loss of property,” from the storm.

The declaration will last for seven days and must be extended by the Howard County Commissioners Court.
