ODESSA, TX (Big 2 / Fox 24 ) – Family members of Hamil Cody Ross have been searching for him nonstop for the past week.

Courtnee Ross, sister of 33- year-old Hamil Ross, says he was last seen Saturday, November 9th, 2019.

“As of right now, my brother has been missing,” Courtnee says. “He has been missing since Saturday morning about 2 a.m. off of 349 going to a job site.”

Hamil ross has been missing for more than a week, and the reports from Ector County deputies say Hamil was last seen with his crew members.

“He was wearing black hoodie jeans and an orange and black Nikes,” she says. “He has been missing for a long time, and we need him home.”

Deputies say Ross’ boss stopped at the side of the road to make a call for directions.

His boss came back to the truck and drove off, that’s when one of the crew members realized Ross wasn’t inside.

“We filed a missing person’s report Sunday morning after he did not come home off the job, so that’s all we know,” she says.

Ross’ family began to search for him when they received this text message from Ross’ boss giving them directions to the place Ross was last seen.

“He’s missing, and it’s unusual,” she says.

Officials say this is still an active investigation if you’ve seen Hamil Ross, contact the Ector County Sheriff’s Office.
