ODESSA, TX (Big 2/ Fox 24) – The search continues for Eddie Moss. Family and friends of Eddie Moss are pleading with the public to help find him.
78-year-old Eddie Moss was last seen around 6:30 Saturday evening. His family says they’re worried about his safety since he has dementia.
“It’s his second day without his medications; he’s trying to probably bunker down where it’s warm, so he’s probably very hungry very thirsty, and he’s very confused,” says Tiffany Patterson, granddaughter of Eddie Moss. “So if you see him, please just call the sheriff’s department our number is all over Facebook mine my mother’s anybody please just if you see him contact us.”
One witness says she might’ve seen him that Saturday evening.
“I was going into town Saturday evening, and I told my husband that guy there acting kinda funny standing on the side of the road, says the witness. “He was walking, and then he just stopped, and then he turned around and looked back towards where he was coming from like he was wondering where he should go.”
Eddie Moss was last seen wearing a black jacket, slacks and he may be wearing a cap.
The eyewitness read a description of a missing man on Facebook, she realized the man she saw was Eddie Moss, but that realization came too late.
“I didn’t really expected to be somebody that I knew you know until the description of him,” the witness says.
“I wish I would’ve known then he was missing you know because I could’ve stopped.”
