Ector County to provide free COVID-19 testing for residents

ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – The Ector County Health Department will be providing free COVID-19 testing for residents starting Wednesday.

Testing will take place at Kellus Turner Park from 9 AM to 5 PM on Wednesday. Testing in south Ector County will take place at the South Ector County Volunteer Fire Department at 4454 W Apple Street from 9 AM to 5 PM, Thursday, July 2nd.

You must be a resident of Ector County to receive the testing. This includes all people who live in Odessa and officials say you can be tested even if you are not showing symptoms.

Due to overwhelming scheduling of appointments, the website and phone number may be unavailable. You can still go to one of the locations and receive testing.
