Ector County suspect accused of running over Lubbock Deputy’s foot during pursuit

LUBBOCK COUNTY, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – A man, wanted out of Ector County, has been arrested after officials say he ran over a Lubbock County Deputy’s foot during a pursuit Monday.

The investigation began Monday afternoon when Lubbock County Deputies tried to serve a warrant in the 6800 block of N. Count Road 1630. When deputies tried to speak with the suspect, he reportedly fled in a vehicle.

Lubbock County officials say when the suspect drove away, he ran over a deputy’s foot and hit another with an open door.

The chase then ensued reaching speeds of about 90 miles per hour, according to a release.

Eventually, the suspect, identified as Codie Seale, stopped and ran from the vehicle but was located and arrested.

Seale was arrested on the Ector County warrant and is facing multiple charges in Lubbock County, according to a release.
