ECTOR COUNTY, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Back by popular demand, the Ector County District Clerk’s Office announced their third annual Passport Fair on Tuesday.
The Passport Fair was designed to speed the process and has drawn a lot of attention from residents in Odessa and beyond. However, District Clerk Clarissa Webster says they will be doing things a little differently this time around.
Previously, the District Clerk’s Office would allow walk-ins at the fair, but this time around it will be by appointment only.
“Rather than having walk-ins, to make it more pleasant for our office. For the security and also for our customers, we are going to do it by appointment only, Webster said after the fair was approved Tuesday by County Commissioners. “That way folks can know exactly when they can see an agent. They can show up at that time instead of standing in long lines.”
