Early voting in Midland special election begins today

MIDLAND, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Early voting for the special election will begin today in Midland.

On Jan 28, voters will decide who will take over for John B. Love III, who left the council to make a bid for the U.S. Senate.

Ultimately, Love would drop out of the Senate race, but his city council seat is still up for grabs.

Steven Villela, Adrian Urquidi and John Norman are all on the ballot for the special elections.

Early voting will take place Jan. 13 through Jan 17 and Jan 21 through 22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Midland County Annex.

It will continue on Jan. 23 through Jan. 24 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Only voters in the following precincts are eligible to vote in the Midland Special Election, 104, 109, 303, 304, 305, 306, 308, 309 and 310.
