Donating to MCH’s vaccination site workers

Local News

ODESSA, Texas (Nexstar) – Medical Center Hospital is preparing to distribute the Coronavirus vaccine to the Permian Basin, but they will need some help and some supplies.

The Hospital is expected to receive 3,900 doses of the Pfizer vaccine on a weekly basis, allowing them to vaccinate a large portion of the population. While many of the details are still in the works, what the Hospital does know is that several employees and volunteers will be needed to administer the vaccines.

MCH says they plan to finalize dates and time for the drive-thru vaccination clinic early next week and they have already been flooded with calls about how the community can help.

One way is to donate supplies to those who will be administering the vaccines.

MCH says they will accept the following items for the vaccination clinics:

  • Water
  • Gatorade
  • Grab and go snack
  • Lunches for volunteer teams
  • Pens
  • Stand up heaters
  • Handwarmer packets
  • Trash bags
