ODESSA, TEXAS (BIG 2 NEWS/FOX 24 NEWS) – Day one of president Trump’s impeachment trial is now underway. Senators spent the afternoon debating on the rules that will pave the way for the remainder of this impeachment trial. We spoke to Derek Catsam, a professor at UTPB, about the impeachment trial and the likelihood President Trump could be removed from office.

Catsam weighed in on how the impeachment trial will impact the political climate as well as this year’s general election.
