UPDATE: Driver cited in early morning crash

MIDLAND, Texas (Nexstar) – Interstate 20 and Rankin Highway in Midland County is open following a crash early Thursday morning.

Authorities say the driver of an SUV changed lanes and lost control of the vehicle, striking the semi truck, causing it to roll.

The driver of the Coca-Cola truck was transported with minor injuries and has been released from the hospital.

The driver of the SUV was cited for changing lanes when unsafe and driving without a license, according to MPD.

A crash was reported at Interstate 20 and Rankin Highway in Midland County.

A video from a viewer shows a semi truck with substantial damage in the center median.
