Crane County reports COVID-19 related death

CRANE COUNTY, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Crane County has reported its first Coronavirus related death.

County Judge Roy Hodges announced the death was at a Focus Care Center in Crane.
Judge Hodges also noted that one patient has been taken to Odessa Regional Medical Center in Odessa.

“Crane County is praying for the employees and residents at the Focus Care Center,” a statement from the Judge reads.

The Judge noted last week that Odessa Fire/Rescue had tested all residents and employees at the Focus Care facility.

Crane County’s total case count is currently at 22, according to the Texas DHS.
