Bustin for Badges returns to the Basin

Local News

(Nexstar) – The annual sporting clays fundraiser, benefiting local law enforcement agencies in Midland and Odessa, is back in 2021.

Bustin for Badges has been around since 2014 and has already raised $2.5 million for the Midland and Odessa Police Departments, along with the Midland and Ector County Sheriff’s Offices.

The money is then split between the agencies to purchase equipment to help them better serve their communities.

The sporting clays tournament will take place April 15 and 16 at Windwalker Farms in Staton. Registration for the event is now open at bustinforbadges.org. Sponsorships range from $25,000 to $2,000.

But, if you can’t join the tournament, there is another way you can back the blue.

The Support Mor Badges fundraiser will take place at three different Chick-fil-A locations in Midland and Odessa. During the event, residents can show their support for local law enforcement by purchasing raffle tickets. Prizes include a UTV, courtesy of Family Powersports.

Raffle tickets can also be purchased online here.
