Brewster County hosting active shooter training

ALPINE, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – You may notice some increased activity at Alpine High School. However, district officials say residents should not be alarmed.

The Brewster County Sheriff’s Office will be at the school for an active shooter training.

The training, according to the BCSO, will include deputies, firefighters, EMS and dispatchers. Officials say the training will conclude Tuesday.
