Bottled water available in Big Spring, Howard County

Local News

HOWARD COUNTY, Texas (Nexstar) – The City of Big Spring and Howard County are offering free bottled water to residents as crews work to resolve water woes caused by the winter storm.

As of Sunday, Mayor Shannon Thomason reported several leaks throughout the city and said the boil water notice for the area remains in effect.

However, some relief has arrived.

The Texas Division of Emergency Management delivered water for the County, which is now available to all residents.

Bottled water can be picked up at the Law Enforcement Center, 3613 W. Highway 80, or the Fire Departments.
