BIG SPRING, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – After a week since the mass shooting in El Paso, one Big Spring tattoo artist aims to help the victim’s families.

Nicholas Sebastian Lee says it is still difficult for him to grasp the tragic event so close to home.

“It’s almost like a neighborly thing,” Lee says. “I wanted to do something to help out the families that you know that were hit by this tragedy.”

After a week since the mass shooting in El Paso, Big spring Inkspot tattoo artist says he wants to help out the victim’s families as much as possible.

“It’s what I wanted somebody to do if this town were hit by something like that,” Lee says.

Lee says coming together in a time of need is what Texans are known for.

“I don’t know just trying to be a good person I guess, it’s what Texans are really known for being like good people.”

Lee has been perfecting his craft for over nine years. However, to honor the lives of those lost in the rampage, he says any Texas-themed tattoos will only range from $30-$60.
