Organizers are still applications for the Miss Permian Basin Scholarship Pageant until August 23, 2019.
The winner will recieve a $1,650 scholarship, the first runner-up $1,350 scholarship; second runner-up $1,000 scholarship and third runner-up $500 scholarship.
To be eligible, you have to be between the ages of 17 to 22; a Permian Basin resident; a U.S. Citizen; single (never married or had children); and maintain a “B” average. The winner will be determined by three competitions, including an interview, assessment of academic achievement, and an evening gown competition.
