ALPINE, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – In the midst of the Coronavirus outbreak, the Alpine Downtown Association is working to help local businesses.

The ADA says they have created a GoFundMe page to raise money for businesses that were forced to close their doors at the height of the outbreak.

Officials are calling it the ‘Alpine Resilience Fund’ and have set the goal at $25,000.

A committee will determine how funds will be distributed and will look at various aspects such as if various businesses were able to recover, or how much they were able to recover, through the Paycheck Protection Program and other forms of Government Assistance.

The fund can be found here.
