Stats also show a probable case count of 254 and 947 tests are still pending. Additionally, officials say 262 have recovered from the virus.
The total case count is now at 480 with an active case count of 465.
This marks the largest amount of COVID-19 cases confirmed in a single day for Ector County as the numbers continue to spike.
Just this week, more than 155 new cases have been confirmed as local health officials urge the community to take necessary precautions such as wearing a mask in public and practicing social distancing.
Mayor David Turner is heeding those warnings and said Wednesday he has tasked the City attorney with crafting a mask ordinance for the city. No official decision has been made on the mask ordinance as of Thursday afternoon.
