33 new cases confirmed in Midland County; Two new deaths reported

MIDLAND, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – The City of Midland has confirmed 33 new cases of COVID-19 and two more COVID-19 related deaths in the county. This brings the total number of cases to 3,272 and the number of deaths to 69.

The 68th patient, a male in his 80s with underlying health conditions, was being treated at Midland Memorial Hospital. The patient passed away on August 27, 2020.

The 69th patient, a female in her 70s with underlying health conditions, was being treated at Midland Medical Lodge. The patient passed away on August 29, 2020.

There are 941 isolated cases, 1649 recovered, 448 under investigation, 165 unable to locate/refused and 69 COVID-19 related deaths in Midland County. Today’s new cases are reflective of lab results from August 28-30, 2020.
