MIDLAND, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – The City of Midland has confirmed 17 new cases of COVID-19 in the county. This brings the total to 2,846. Another COVID-19 related death has also been reported. This is the 52nd death in the county.
The 52nd patient, a male in his 70s with underlying health conditions, was being treated at Medical Center Hospital.
These cases and death come after two new deaths were reported in the Tall City earlier Thursday. Two 80-year-old women died at Midland Memorial Hospital Thursday morning.
There are 919 isolated cases, 1360 recovered, 370 under investigation, 145 unable to locate/refused and 52 COVID-19 related deaths in Midland County. Today’s new cases are reflective of lab results from August 12-13, 2020.
