ECTOR COUNTY, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – 141 new Coronavirus cases are being reported in Ector County.
Data shows there are 4,745 confirmed cases and 3,200 probable cases for a total of 7,945 COVID-19 cases.
Over the past week, more than 100 cases have been reported each day in Ector County. The recent surge has prompted warnings and pleas from local officials.
Dr. Timothy Benton, Chief Medical Officer with Medical Center Hospital, also announced Thursday that the current surge has surpassed the spike seen over the summer months.
