After being the last 6A team from the Permian Basin standing in the 2017 postseason, Midland Lee once again picked up a statement win. The Rebels defeated Smithson Valley on the road 24-23 to kick off their 2018 campaign.
This week, Lee returns home to face Abilene High. Kickoff from Grande Communications Stadium is at 7:30 PM.
The Eagles come into the contest 0-1, after falling 13-7 in their opener at Amarillo Tascosa.
