LEA COUNTY, New Mexico (Nexstar)- Lea County Sheriff’s Deputies, with the assistance of the United States Marshals Service and New Mexico Adult Probation and Parole, completed sex offender address verifications this week.
The joint operation verified the physical addresses of all registered sex offenders residing in Lea County. 113 address verifications were completed.
The operation resulted in one arrest, three registration of sex offender violations, and the issuance of three felony arrest warrants, according to a release.
Deputies arrested James Lee Pilley, 71, of Hobbs, on two failure to appear bench warrants out of Eunice.
Arrest warrants were also issued for the following sex offenders:
Ricardo Fuentez, 62, of Hobbs. Fuentez is charged with failure to notify change of address, a 4th degree felony.
Ruben Jaramillo, 57, of Hobbs. Jaramillo is charged with failure to notify change of address, a 3rd degree felony.
Raymond Pulaski, 64, of Hobbs. Pulaski is charged with failure to notify change of address, a 4th degree felony.
