Another West Texas school is partnering up with Proximity Learning.
Kermit ISD is the latest district to reach a deal with Proximity Learning Partners Inc.
The partnership will bring live interactive instruction to students at Kermit Junior High. The partnership specifically focuses on math and English classes, according to a release.
“At Kermit ISD, we are committed to seeing that our students receive engaging instruction and are prepared for college or career,” Kermit ISD Superintendent Dr. Denise Shetter said in a statement. “After learning about Ector County’s success with Proximity Learning, we’re excited to bring this innovative solution to our students.”
Proximity Learning has also partnered with Ector County ISD and Midland ISD to combat a teacher shortage in the Basin.
