The deputies injuried in a shooting overnight in Ector County have been identified.
Officials say, deputies Josh Pool, Cody Smith and Ricky Rodriguez were among the injured on Monday night.
The deputies were injured while serving a search warrant Monday night in the 7300 block of Kentucky Avenue.
As the deputies were entering, Griffis says the suspect fired multiple rounds.
Three deputies were later rushed to the hospital following the shooting.
Medical Center Health System Police say initially two of the deputies were believed to be in critical condition and the third was believed to be in serious condition.
However, after futher examination, medical personnel say all of the deputies conditions were improved to fair, MCHS officials say.
