ODESSA, Texas (Nexstar) – Now that the winter storm has passed Medical Center Hospital is looking forward to the last two weeks at Ratliff Stadium for their vaccine clinic.
In a conference today, CEO Russell Tippin said that their weekly vaccine allotment has increased from 3,900 doses to just under 6,000.
“I know a lot of people have helped out for that, helped us tell our story,” said Tippin. “That’s good news.”
In addition to receiving additional doses weekly, Tippin announced MCH will send out doses to hospitals in the region.
Fort Stockton, Andrews, Monahans, and Kermit will be receiving first and second-dose shots. Rankin will be receiving second-dose shots.
“We’re able to send about 1,500 shots to each one of those locations, first and second dose,” said Tippin. “I know they’ll put those to good use.”
MCH will continue their vaccine clinic starting Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will continue Thursday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This week will be first dose only.
March 2 through the 5 MCH will be administering second dose shots from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This will be second dose only.
