MIDLAND, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – The City of Midland has confirmed 82 new cases in the county. This brings the total number of cases to 1738.
There are 848 isolated cases, 808 recovered, 40 under investigation, 11 unable to locate/refused and 31 COVID-19 related deaths in Midland County.
On the national level, the United States passed 4 million confirmed COVID-19 cases on Thursday. The country has had a million new cases confirmed in just the last 15 days.
States across the country are seeing massive spikes, with California passing 400,000 cases earlier this week.
While Midland ISD has not released a plan for the upcoming school year, ECISD announced on Tuesday how they plan to restart school.
