Midland-natives and brothers Hunter and Ty Coleman helped the Texas A&M baseball team avoid elimination with a win over Fordham University today.
After losing to Duke last night in a Regional opener, the Aggies defeated Fordham 11-2 to avoid elimination from the tournament. The former Rebels and sibling duo certainly did their share to keep their team alive.
Junior catcher Hunter Coleman had three hits, two of which were homeruns, and five RBI in his stat line.
Freshman infielder Ty Coleman added a homerun of his own that resulted in two runners-batted-in.
Texas A&M will now face the loser of the West Virginia/Duke game. The elimination game will be Sunday at 11 a.m.
